Natter 68: Bork Bork Bork
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
I take it the board was down while I was at work?
Quite the thunderstorm rolled through this morning. There was a simultaneous FLASH and BOOM and suddenly the theatre was pitch black. There few things as dark as a theatre right before the emergency lights come on.
Also, I have decided I like OPI's silver crackle polish over a seafoam green.
I found I liked the matte crackles better than the metalics. They looked more deliberate, while some of the metalics just looked like your nails had gotten F-ed up. (I went to Sephora one day at lunch and tried them all on different fingers and over different polishes.)

This is my favorite crackle at the moment. I also have red, white, and black crackle.
Looks like the car wash is still going to happen tomorrow, but with the parents washing the cars until the team gets back from the mountain. Uhhhh, I have a massage already scheduled right in the middle of the car wash. Had planned to do that and then go get my car washed/wait for CJ to be done. Maybe I'll go and help clean up.
Gawd, Gracie's so big! Not even a toddler, but girl!
Margaritas on the deck. And I had cilantro jalapeƱo hummus on hand. And a cheddar with carmelized onion made an appearance.
And I just febreezed a stinkbug that got in in the hope that when Loki does catch it, it will stink a little less.
Gracie has a fantastic grin!
I have to share this quote from a co-worker:
Live free or die! Whenever I drive into NH, I immediately remove my seat belt and hang a foot out the window in a mild effort to do both.
Can someone do me a favor and click on my blog? Do you see the title/header?
Same bizarre-ness in Explorer.
BTW, Amy, do you want to make the Blogger header/navbar invisible, like so? I have the html for that.
In spite of a sinus migraine, today I made salad, stir fry, simple syrup and then mango sorbet, ran the dishwasher, put dishes away and partially filled it again, did two loads of laundry and put it all away, logged into work and did stuff for 2.5 hours, partially cleaned the bathroom, sorted through some books, took out the garbage, and went for a 3.5 mile walk.
Tomorrow I need to clean more of the things, and make salsa and various tomato sauces.

Yes, please!
Crap, the header's still doing it! Except now instead of disappearing, you see the old font for a second, and then the new one. Ugh, Blogger.
Holy crap shrift. That would be a productive day even WITHOUT a headache. It is, in fact, more than I did. Which was...er...get up and read for a while and be sad b.org was down, and then take a nap, and then go to the gym for a while. And then go eat sushi.
...now I think I'ma read some more. Studiously ignoring the hoarders-like clutter that has magically reproduced in the house, and once again promise myself I will do something about it tomorrow.
I don't know who those hoarders are who keep coming in our houses. It was all more or less neat when we came home to it empty this summer. I'm unclear on what changed. Maybe it was the coyotes I keep hearing at night.
Hi Kat! Happy vacationing! But I'm glad to see the pic from you in the meanwhile. She is a cutiebug.
