Holy crap shrift. That would be a productive day even WITHOUT a headache. It is, in fact, more than I did. Which was...er...get up and read for a while and be sad b.org was down, and then take a nap, and then go to the gym for a while. And then go eat sushi.
...now I think I'ma read some more. Studiously ignoring the hoarders-like clutter that has magically reproduced in the house, and once again promise myself I will do something about it tomorrow.
I don't know who those hoarders are who keep coming in our houses. It was all more or less neat when we came home to it empty this summer. I'm unclear on what changed. Maybe it was the coyotes I keep hearing at night.
Hi Kat! Happy vacationing! But I'm glad to see the pic from you in the meanwhile. She is a cutiebug.
Yes, please!
Okay, if you go to where you can edit the HTML on the template in Dashboard, put this:
#Navbar1 {
margin: 0;
padding: 0;
display: none;
visibility: hidden;
}
Directly above this:
/* Header

And below this:
$(content.background.color.selector) {
background-color: $(content.background.color);
}
Hey Kat, what is that place for kids featured in stream? Looks FANTASTIC!
Ok, it is 10:30pm. Is there any logical reason one person would be cutting concrete across the street at the car wash? In the "vacuum your car" area? By himself? With no professional looking vehicle around? At 10:30pm?
I really like the crackle nail polishes. In fact, tonight I am painting my nails holographic pink glitter (REALLY holo glitter, like blindingly so), and then putting black crackle over it.
Maybe, Cass, maybe. I did call 911 and 2 cop cars showed up almost immediately. They are out there talking to the guy. From the body language and pointing, I think he works at the car wash, but who knows what he was doing or why. As long as it doesn't start up again...man, that was loud.
Grrr, darned kids. Get offa my lawn.
Cops are gone. Guy is gone. Tis quiet. Now I'll attempt sleep.
Realized this is the first time I've actually called 911 for something. Huh.
If it had been a Buffista hiding a body, I totally woulda had his/her back. But a stranger? Tough luck.
I have called 911 twice. Once when a customer grabbed his chest and collapsed at the service desk and once when my apartment was filled with smoke and I could hear the other apartments' smoke alarms going off.
I am attempting to drink black coffee for the first time since my early twenties. I always have half and half, but I am out, the store that will definately have half and half is a mile and a half away, and it is raining. I could go buy milk at the gas station, but we'll see how this goes.
