The house next door is being renovated, and the shed/1-car garage behind the house was torn down at 9 a.m., so we got up and took our cups of coffee outside to watch. Better than cartoons!
I just walked Kato, and in a little bit we have to take him up for his photo session for the calendar.
Later on we're going out to some park in Indiana to celebrate Tim's brother's 50th birthday with grilled meat and possibly hiking. The good part is that WE are not camping (Tim's brother's family is, though); we're just going out to make merry and then come home and sleep in our own bed. That's the way I like the great outdoors: in controlled doses.

Spanx are sausage casing. I have a high-waisted pair I bought for my Audrey Horne pencil skirt, but I've only worn them twice. And once was a rugby alum event and they ended up getting passed around and worn as head gear and robber mask and such.

Punishingly Intricate
Spanx made my indestructible nude fishnet tights and for that I will always love them.
I went to market and then helped my friend get her new classroom (her first!) ready a bit. The amount of work she needs to do to get the place half decent is pretty unbelievable. I'm glad I could do even a tiny bit to help.
Now I am working in my room because Bob is supposed to be out and about with a visiting friend but there were drunk shenanigans last night and they are recovering on the couch watching tv. I'm trying not to be too annoyed. And trying not to give in to the urge to nap.
