"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Thanks, meara! I was asking about it in Tech. I've bookmarked the article.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

They (I think it's the power company?) are doing work on my street. It started at 7:30 this morning, just like the last two mornings. But today is Saturday! So I dozed in bed for a long time, getting woken up and having crazy dreams. I wish I had just slept a little longer and gotten up. Annoying!

Not that I have more than a couple of hours' worth of stuff to get done today.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I had to take CJ across town so he can work a parade this morning. Now I'm home, surfing the internet and sewing on a patch on his spare uniform. I would rather crawl back under the covers and sleeeeeeeeep.

Plans for the day - do nails, karate group class, clean house, arts & crafts fair. Tomorrow is a massage and then go to the ARP car wash. And do the cleaning I didn't get done today.

OK, at least they waited on the sustained drilling until 10. Noisy!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I have a personal trainer session and then I have to go into the office for several hours today. Tomorrow is errand and cleaning day.

Because books.

I'm having lunch with my mom today. So far that's the extent of my plans. We cleaned all day yesterday, so that's done.

A movie tonight could be an idea.

We're going to pick peaches today, assuming the rain holds off.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have to evaluate the practicality of seeing a Fright Night matinee. I love Saturday matinees. They're cheap, and the mall is empty except for the dedicated and the loserish.

I just went to a different branch of the pharmacy to pick up my meds, and I swear if the pharmacist hadn't been black, I wouldn't have gotten them. Original pharmacy did *nothing* they said they'd do to make it possible for me to pick up the meds at the new place. He had to go against everything the system was telling him in order to give them to me.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Well, I'm glad you got them. WTF is wrong with people? The people who didn't do what they said they would, to be clear.

I think this whole bag of coffee is broken. It doesn't taste right and it's not jump starting my brain.

My only hard plan for the day is watching football early evening. I still have three baskets of clean laundry (and an overloaded drying rack) to put away, so maybe I'll do that...
