Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Brenda, I so don't envy you! clear-head-ma, at least?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

At least I was able to nudge *my* new boss away from calling her with this on her birthday. Not that that helps me any.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I hope I can save someone someday.

I called the dealership, and he said his part locator says no one has the part. So I will call in the morning when they open to verify.

I'm shaky. My dad told me to go buy a new car.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Allyson, I'll let you know as soon as I hear anything on this. I just finished the email to one of my national service guys.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I hope I can save someone someday.

Haven't you already saved ita?

Jason talked me off the ledge, and explained that I was getting shitty service, and that he'd be SHOCKED to find that GM doesn't have a pedal for a 2004.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

She totally saved me. Many times over.

MFNlaw, does this sound bananas to you? It's just that I'm dealing with a jerk, right?

Should I call that place in Atlanta tomorrow, have it overnighted to me, and walk into the dealership with it and hand it over to the general manager?

Holy crap, brenda. Um, prepare to drink a lot this evening?

I was going to say this situation sounds like one that No Wine pledge was tailor made for. Loose lips sink birthdays!

Because books.

It's coming down buckets.

We just had the weirdest storm. Wind, more wind, no power!, lots of lightning, a rainbow!, a few raindrops, more really threatening clouds and lightning, and now it seems to be over.

PECO guy just showed up -- the transformer station is right across the street, so we watched him walk in with his flashlight and essentially flip a switch. Let there be light internet.
