Allyson, you really need to email me your issue, including the make, model, year, and VIN of the car to my firstname.lastname @ gm dot com. It could very well be a supplier problem, and if not, then I can get someone to tell me what the hell is going on.
Don't mention here. Your email is going to be forwarded to contacts in Detroit.
edit: My people should be able to tell if it's really out of stock or not and get me an ETA.
And once again, the hivemind springs into action.
God DAMN, I loves me some Buffistas.
Give me the internet and a board to post on and I can move the world.
What she said (also, Maria you are a rockstar!)
I'm more than happy to help. Keep in mind that I go poof at this organization 9/1, but I'll be able to follow up afterwards if necessary. This is not an acrimonious split.
Go Maria! Be the mothereffin' law. :)
Both my mechanic and the dealership said without hesitation that a used assembly would be unsafe.
OK, I am obviously not at all a mechanic, but...why? Anyone know? I mean, if it was a part that was known to have problems, that'd be one thing, but then surely there'd be a widely available replacement, y'know?
Wow, way to go, Maria!
Steph, insent to your profile address re: Cincinnati trip. (Woo!)
Oh, and let me know what dealership the vehicle is currently at. If a part is found in some back room, it will expedite the shipping.
