Both my mechanic and the dealership said without hesitation that a used assembly would be unsafe.
OK, I am obviously not at all a mechanic, but...why? Anyone know? I mean, if it was a part that was known to have problems, that'd be one thing, but then surely there'd be a widely available replacement, y'know?

My dealership drives me to Enterprise and rents me a car if they have to keep my car overnight. Apparently I shouldn't have been taking this for granted.
