How lazy is too lazy? If I make ice cream according to the recipe but substitute soy milk for cow's milk (but use real cream) is that going to mess anything up other than jeopardise the flavour?
I mean, anything chemical?

I bet it's OK, as long as the fat contents are similar.
Speaking of lazy, I just made a potato's worth of chips in my oven, which was super easy thanks to my mandoline, and I might just make another one and call that dinner.
Timelies all!
Happy Birthday Amy!
Don't know my status yet for work. Those in charge will send out an e-mail on Friday.
We'll be fine - it will get to be a pinch if it goes on for more than a couple of weeks, but if it's a day or two it's actually not a big deal, even a little break.
Yeah, what flea said. Heck it'll be less stressful than when I was out of work trying to get this contract lined up. At least now I have health insurance.
Also FTR, staying home from work today was a good call, since I got not one email I needed to respond to. And I did my laundry.
Why has Chase sent me a "we've been hacked" email? I have a Chase account? *Now* I'm paranoid.
The board has a Chase account, if it could be that?
I wonder if that was part of the plan?
Probably.
My favorite non-dairy ice cream is So Delicious coconut milk-based ice cream. No cholesterol but I'm sure it's high fat. But real dairy ice cream tastes even better.
I'll take gelato over ice cream every day. Less fat too. Of course, I cancel out that fact by insisting that my delivery method for said gelato be in a brioche, but damn it's tasty.
