Jayne: What're you gonna tell the others? Mal: About what? Jayne: About why I'm dead. Mal: Hadn't thought about it. Jayne: Make something up. Don't tell 'em what I did.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I really should be drawing right now, but I am exhausted. I've had a week of insomnia--just got Ambien towards the end of it, but it wasn't enough. So I'm lying around and hydrating.

Last week's IV stick was so bad they were going at it two at a time, doctor on one side, nurse on another. I don't want to push them over 5 attempts again.

Ah-ha! Hmmm, maybe I should just convince that artist husband of mine to make a design for me.

Good idea. I'm surprised there were no baby onesies available for this one.

But what about being a vampire princess? Why treat the ideas like they're orthogonal?

OK, that was timing! Just as I walk out of the Y after completing my swim, crack of thunder and the skies opened up. Had my swim not got broken into 2 parts, I would have had my fasted continuous swim, ever. As it is, first 8, I managed a 55 pace, and for the remaining 64, I got 54.33. Which is insane, but I really had everything flat out down. NICE!

Now I gotta go see if my roof leaked again in this round.

But what about being a vampire princess?

Pfft, that's aiming low. My real childhood dream was to be vampire witch queen of the universe. I'm still working on it. When I finally ascend, people will be very surprised and say things like, "But she always seemed like such a NICE girl."
