So the lead singer of the rock band Warrant died. He was 47. You may remember them from the song "Cherry Pie."
Check out this passage from his obit:
Mr. Lane was born John Kennedy Oswald on Feb. 1, 1964 in Akron, Ohio. (His parents named him after President John F. Kennedy, undeterred by the fact that they shared the last name of the suspect in the assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald.)

I never considered Dumbledore/Snape, but it makes surprising sense, really.
Say what you will about The Munsters, they always treated Marilyn's differences with respect even if they didn't understand them.
Watching a thunderstorm to the south to try to time my swim between storms. Got 95% of my shopping done. Then clean the house.
My attempts at home improvement have been a bust this weekend. Yesterday, I tried to put down two thresholds. One is too small, the other one cracked because I tightened the screw too tight. This AM I was finally going to get around to painting the basement window trim outside. And the brown paint I bought last summer turned out to be bright crimson!
Normally I would laugh this stuff off, but I have turned frustrated and grumpy. I have applied a liberal helping of Haagen Dazs Dulche de leche, and it's helping a little. But I think I might need a nap to seal the deal. (And some elves to magically clean my apartment while I'm asleep.)

The house is almost clean, I just took a shower, and my auntie is due here in about an hour. I think I may need a glass of wine in preparation. I love her dearly but this is the first time she is seeing me on my own turf and I'm a tad freaked out.
Oh, oh, oh - at the $100 store, I saw someone wearing a shirt that seemed like a person or two here would like. "Forget being a princess, I want to be a vampire".
Wait, wait, wait. Which store was this at? Target? Because that was the motto of my childhood.
Don't know if I can get my swim in. I got in 8 laps and it has been storming fiercely ever since.
I have hemmed and hung the curtains that have been sitting in the sewing closet for almost a year. Yay! More sewing to do and maybe some cooking and eBay listing.
