We spent a long time figuring out our anniversary trip (and finagling getting most of it for free) without actually booking anything. Other Friday night events include watching the IT Crowd and playing Angry Birds on our new Roku box. We are a thrill a minute I tells ya!

So the lead singer of the rock band Warrant died. He was 47. You may remember them from the song "Cherry Pie."

Check out this passage from his obit:

Mr. Lane was born John Kennedy Oswald on Feb. 1, 1964 in Akron, Ohio. (His parents named him after President John F. Kennedy, undeterred by the fact that they shared the last name of the suspect in the assassination, Lee Harvey Oswald.)
