Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

The tattooed cats ... that's creepy. And I imagine they had to sedate the cat to have it done. The ones of cats in S/M gear look like they've been photoshopped.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Even the temporary tattoos -- what's the point?

brillig

re: spoilers--if a book is going in a direction that I'm leery of, I'll check the end to see if it resolves in a way that doesn't make me want to throw it against a wall. I'm willing to read through badness if there's a payoff I can appreciate in the end.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

unless you're weird like Steph's dog, I refuse to believe that any of them could possibly enjoy it, or even plain not care.

Poor Chloe, ruining the curve for other dogs.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

My dog has tattoos. One in each ear, and a small one on her belly.

Of course, the ear tats are from when she was a working dog, and the belly tat is to indicate that she was spayed. So totally different.

I am going to get her numbers tattooed on me. Just not in green. Hers are green.

Racing. :)

I adopted a retired Greyhound. I am never getting any other breed of dog. She's awesome.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hello, Natterers! I'm back in the civilized world with the internet at my fingertips.

My pets have no tattoos and no clothes. I am about halfway done with cutting the annual summer tangles off of Gilda's back legs though.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

coming from ita?!?!?!?

Hey now. Imposing that crap on any living creature is way outside and beyond my comfort level.

Steph, I was all "STAPLING??? CRAZYCAKES!!" and then I remembered the whole Shocknife thing at krav where I'd lure the unsuspecting into getting electric shocks by demonstrating on my own inner thigh while maintaining eye contact and smiling. I don't think any women ever fell for it, but just about every guy would. And then they'd look at me with such anger and betrayal, because, honestly, that shit hurt like a BITCH.

Yet? It never got old. I kept shocking myself over and over because it was so rewarding to see other people get shocked.
