Thanks! won't be until after my organization's conference (late October), so it's not going to be a rush to the OR.
In other news, I've been summoned for jury duty. In TWO courts. The local one, as usual, wants the one-day/ one-trial deal. The federal court, however, needs a jury for a trial starting September 14. For four to five weeks, maybe more. um ... I'm hoping to be excused (since, not only will we be frantically busy and my not being available full-time would be a major problem, they wouldn't pay me for the whole time).
So very much ~ma to Toddson, le nubian and Maria & DH. What the hell, 2011?
Well, with 2011 being rotten to so many of us, can we hope 2012 will be better? aside from having to go through the entire election cycle?
Thank you, Amy and JZ. Though I'd take it further to a "WTF, 2011?" place.

I said that about 2010. Look where that got me. (Though I hope it's not the same for the rest of you.)
My doctor actually announced a diagnosis of diabetes as good news. She said, given you eyesight symptoms, another possibility could have been MS.
uh. happy happy clap clap?
My god people, stop. I'm so sorry to hear about your diagnosis, LeN, but yay for no MS? Interference with your sight must be nervous-making.
All the strength to you, MFNLaw.
Much -ma to you and DH, Maria.
LeN - sorry for the diagnosis. I definitely recommend taking a targeted nutrition, etc. course -- can probably find one through your health plan. Free and informative - I learned lots of stuff I didn't know I never knew.
And, Toddson, adding to the chorus of people with relatives who've had positive experiences with cataract surgeries.
My goodness.
What can you tell by what browser a person uses?
I KNEW IT. ALL THE TIME.
Man, my neck feels like it's being squeezed by a vise.
I may or may not have diabetes, but I have been doing a fairly low glycemic diet and I do feel a bit better. I had a high fasting blood sugar and normal H1C and then 3 months later both were normal. So, I am in a wait and see pattern. I think I would have rather had the medicine.
My mother had successful cateract surgery, as did my grandpa. Their problems were more from the glaucoma
And much ma to le nub, Todd and Maria
