Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, so is Angel S5 better than S2? I'm a little disgruntled at the suggestion, but maybe I should rewatch.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I made it into the office today! Woot? I'm running out of steam, but am determined to make it to at least noon. Unless my lungs need a neb treatment before then.

Yesterday was pathetic. I loaded up the car with some stuff for Goodwill, drove over there, and unloaded it, and I was DONE. Lungs were tight as heck and I hadn't really done much. So frustrating.

Luckily the Goodwill drop off is next to the dojo, so I hung out there for a bit and snuggled a 2.5 month old baby. Almost as effective as a neb treatment.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Angel S2 is the best season of any Whedon show.

I'm gonna have to go with Firefly season 1 (wow, that felt weird to type), but I still feel pretty confident that Angel S2 is right up there, and above Buffy S2, which I adore to bits.

Oooh, bold claim! I'd have to go with Buffy S3, or Firefly S1.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Okay, so is Angel S5 better than S2?

No.

Angel S2 and S4 are about on par for me, but S5 took waaaaay too long to get good.

Angel S5 had a couple of great standalone episodes, Numero Cinco and Smile Time, but the overall arc was meh.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I liked Angel Season 5 better than the previous two seasons (SO much better than Season 3!), but it doesn't hold up to what I consider to be the gold standards: Seasons 1 & 2 and Buffy Seasons 1-3.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

It must be said that Buffy sustained a greater peak for a longer time. BtVS Seasons 2-4 are solid gold.

ION, I found this newspaper item from 1911 criticizing intercollegiate baseball:

Dr. Jordan witnessed one of the games of baseball between Stanford and the University of California recently, and became highly indignant at what he termed “systematic muckerism” as manifested by the cancous joshing of pitchers and other players

"Systematic muckerism"? I don't even know about "cancous joshing." "Canerous" maybe? "Rancorous"?

I don't know about that - S4 has some standouts in it, but as an arc it was pretty uneven.
