Or, go pantsless on the plane and put them on when you get there? that shouldn't be a problem, right?

Plane Porky Pigging!
That kitty drawing made me cry, and I don't even read the comic!
No linen!
Aims - I love the dresses your making for Em -- just adorable.
Msbelle - I also hope you're having a better day today.

In all the excitement at work yesterday, I totally forgot to pick up my anti-depressant prescription, so now I feel all weird because I never took it yesterday. I am on Celexa, and it has a really short half-life or whatever you call it, and I get noticeable symptoms from missing one. I am being stubborn about picking it up, because I want to do it on lunch, and not make an extra trip.
I never know when I skip a dose of one of my meds if I'm really feeling the effects of that or if I'm just making myself feel weird by thinking about having missed that dose, you know?
Man, yesterday: meeting after meeting and we got our new dress code. Boss is doing away with casual Fridays. Has also determined that the staff polos are no longer office appropriate. (Where the heck else would I wear those things?) Had to be talked into allowing sandals - but really wants all of us in heels. (Did not mention what sort of shoes men are expected to wear.)
And when asked when the code goes into effect: we were told that they'd let us wait 'til Monday to start. Nice one: seriously - at staff meeting yesterday I think that that 50% of us would have been sent home - because she wanted the new code to go into effect immediately.
I can't believe that my office - a high contact student office has a more formal dress code than my best friend, the corporate attorney, who gets to wear tee shirts and jeans on Friday.
Those dresses are so cute, Aims!
but really wants all of us in heels.
WTF??
Can heels really be part of a dress code. I mean, I get that they can say "dress shoes", but heels?
Of course, I wear flip flops everyday. Our dress code is "dress appropriately". I am actually not certain if I think flip flops are appropriate, but I wear them anyway.
When I worked at JC Penney, they did not change the dress code after the 1980's for a while, so one of the things we were required to wear was a camisole under our blouses. This was in the late 90's early 2000's, so before the resurgance of the "cami" and, in fact, the blouse. No one worse blouses.
I don't think that anyone can make you wear heels anymore, can they? I know that I can't wear them at all; with my messed-up knees, they hurt like hell.
Super cute dresses, Aimee.
I am "dressed" for work. None of my students will be there, but I don't feel comfortable wearing shorts. So I have a t-shirt material skirt and a white tee. I'd like to wear flip flops, but I'll put on tennis shoes instead. Sigh.
