I can't stop watching Supernanny tonight. So stressy! But compelling!

OMG, I totally keep watching it and being alternately soothed by her and how her techniques work, and stressed that someday I might have a family that is that out of control, and not be able to call her!

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I, too, watch Supernanny like I watch Clean House or Hoarders.

It soothes me. I figure I will never be that bad.

But I swear, after each episode of Hoarders, I immediately get rid of 5 things.

Watch for zombies! Apparently someone hacked a highway sign. Heh.

Right around the corner from me. Made my day, I tell you what.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Ugh msbelle, such a tough night. I send you love and strength.

Yay for zombie road sign warnings!

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I have such a ridic crush on Archbishop Tutu.

I met him when I was 14 or so. It was pretty epic. He smiled and held my hand and told me I have the same name as his wife.

we are having a night. thrown furniture, torn up book, threats, holes kicked in door. it's been a long while since we've seen this and of course I am already run down today. bloody hell.

Oy, I'm sorry. It is nice to see you say its been a long while, however... fingers crossed that it's the very last one.

Debetesse and I went to lunch in your old nabe today. Sooo good.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Shit, msbelle. I am so sorry that your night was off and then really off.

For folks not on FB and bored at whatever task they are doing and would like to poke around in my summer activities, here is a public FB album of my sewing projects since Easter with my newest projects at the beginning. I'm still learning how to make decent bags, but I've got t-shirt dresses down. I also want to make circle skirts. [link]

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I hope things improve today, msbelle.

Love Michelle--go, FLOTUS!

Ended up falling asleep on the couch last night and woke up really early, so I did some stuff around the apartment, then went for my Friday swim when the pool opened at 6:00 instead of waiting until my lunchbreak. Still got here to work by 7:45, so I can be home by 4:30, which is very nice indeed!

Aww, looks like the cat who was Eben in the Two Lumps cartoon has passed on. Today's strip has me tearing up.

Msbelle, I hope today's a better day.

Today is shaping up to be a real assy kind of day at work. I really wanted to take today off, and I'm really wishing I did.
