Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I also read somewhere that we didn't really get hit with the housing bubble, because our prices never inflated (probably simply because there are WAY more houses than people who want to live here!).

Now that I have paid off my credit cards, I feel like I should look in to buying a house, as a modest house is actually less than my rent. But, then I would have to mow the lawn!

Punishingly Intricate

I love that NYTimes weekly feature that shows what $X will buy you housing wise in 3 different markets. Fascinating!

Pay a kid to do it! Would you be able to buy someplace that would make your commute more reasonable?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bookcase in a stairwell that you access via bosun's chair

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

I second lisah!

In fact, it's time for me to call the Friendly Neighborhood Teenager. The grass exploded over the weekend.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Wow, you guys, it looks like the marriage equality issue in New York is going to be voted on today (well, probably tonight -- it's apparently the last item on the agenda), and there are allegedly enough votes to pass it.

Mulch and groundcovers.

I hope no one has a connection through Atlanta. There's a huge fire at an industrial plant near the airport that makes high-tech plastic products. There's a hold on at the airport, and they're evacuating a two-mile radius.
