So... life was trying to kill her?
I feel like that every single day.
I discovered that I could get pink vanity plates NICEST. But they are a minimum of $50/year and you have to pay for 10 years to get that price.
The price is steep, but really? These plates NEED to be yours.
Life tries to kill us all. And it always wins...
For instance, my nose is trying to kill me AS WE SPEAK.
My sinuses have been trying to kill me all week. I don't know why they hate me so--I never did anything to them.
isn't saying that somebody "lost their battle with life" an odd way of putting it?
I was thinking it could be a proofing error -- like "lost her life" was incompletely changed to "lost her battle with [something]." But I just found the piece and the whole thing reads like it was run through Babelfish a few times so... I think the problem is deeper than that.
Emmett's coming to SF via BART/Muni today solo for the first time.
This is awesome! I hope he handles it well enough to take some of the transportation burden off of you.
Damn it, buying a house is really really complicated.
Tell me in the end it will be worth it. Please?
Javachik, you're buying? Well, now is definitely the time. And I love having my own yard, and being able to paint my walls any color I like.
But yeah, it's a horrific hassle to do it.
Tell me in the end it will be worth it. Please?
You know home ownership is a hassle and is expensive sometimes but I am truly glad I bought my house. I love that it is mine (ours now). Being mine meant I could (pay someone to) do this to it, for example:
ARGH. My counterpart is giving notice tomorrow. We still have no boss. I might die. There is no way I can deal with her workload -- not that I'm so busy (although I should be), but it's a whole different set of people and relationships and bullshit, and I just caaaaan't.
