Looking at radar, it seems the worst (for the moment) has passed me. We hardly got any rain where I am. Weird.
Well, that was a day. Hung out in NY with Trudy and DebetEsse and DebetEsse's friend again. We did not see The Daily Show. We did not see Company. We did not eat Indian food. We did see some drug deals.
At The Daily Show, we waited around and stood in line for about two hours, and even got past the security screening, before they informed us that the studio was full and we'd have to come back some other day. The last people allowed in were the people right in front of us on line. So then we tried to go see Company, and it was sold out. The lack of Indian food was just a bizarre inability to find a sit-down Indian restaurant in any of the many NYC neighborhoods we were in today.

It's sort of like when you listen to Wait Wait Don't Tell Me, and Peter Segal asks, "Is that your final answer?" and you know that he's hinting the caller to change to something else.
Except Monty will offer the switch even if you picked a winner. I ran across another way to think about it, which is actually to ignore the reveal. You pick door A. Pretend Monty says you can stick with A, or you can switch so that you win if the car is behind B or C. In that scenario, it's obvious that your odds are 2 in 3 if you switch, right? That's basically what's happening.
Whoa, the A's beat the Mets. That hasn't happened since 1973.

Right now, I'm not sure why I packed gym clothes for my trip to SF. I walked over 7 miles today without even trying.
