Happy birthday and commiseration to those that need it.

I'm having one of those weeks in which I am not dealing with things I should (calling roofer and downspout people) and attempting to deal with things where the dealing goes awry (tensioner on my screen in the screen door broke; I can't even get the right google terms to find a part to fix it and it is only two years old and HomeDespot was useless so I'm kinda pissy) or dealing with things I'd really rather not (cat barf and puke and another load of laundry tonight since someone hacked up all over the bathroom rug. Given the grass, it was Loki) and I'm just sorta done with it all for the moment.

Good news: I arsed myself to dig up the repair receipts from closing and found the roofing contract. Guaranteed 10 years from installation as long as it is recoated every 3, transferable with sale. It's been 2 years. So I will call them tomorrow, damnit. And I know what I'm doing next spring.
