I tried Pier One, nogo.

I really like the target generic diet tonic; I bought some giant generic and uhg, it's just too sweet and weird. I'm very picky about tonic. It's my go-to to settle my stomach or just get out a really needed belch (chug it.)

That's it, msbelle. Clearly you are better schooled than I.

Cass, you can get diet tonic flavor to add to the sodastream water.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, I meant a thingie for the sodastream. I can fizz the water but I need to brew the tonic mix. Pref with less sugar cause sugar wigs me.

Found it!

Do we like it? Do we know it? I can be the experimental one if no one else has tried it.

Since I don't have a sodastream, taste test it again target's generic diet tonic (if you can find it) and let me know!

I'll grab Target's and the sodastream and let you know. I don't ~love!~ their regular tonic but I don't hate it either. It's just ... tonic. I tend to like more fizz in the diet tonic. Probably to make up for something but if a little extra fizz makes me drink less sugar, I am okay with that.

I haven't tried it--I only got the starter pack that came with mine, and it didn't include the diet tonic--but also because I mostly just want club soda, and am not a fan of tonic water!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

YAY TYPO!! So glad to hear that they got everything and that radiation isn't in your future. FUCK YOU CANCER.

****

Why are people so shitty? My cousin J and her partner H have two boys. They each gave birth using the same donor. Prior to the two boys, H was pregnant with triplets and lost them at week 23, I think? Somewhere around there. Anyway - E, their eldest son, was born a little bit early, and had some minor issues. Mostly to do with breathing and eye sight. The breathing issues were corrected. He got glasses at 6 months and now, at 7, he's fine.

Except his doctors and therapists have determined that he has a trcking disability with his eyes and he compensates for it in other ways and he needs vision therapy to correct the disability. H and J are the most diligent of parents and research everything to the nth degree. The therapy, not surprisingly, isn't covered. So they sent out a request through ChipIn, detailing the therapy, what it will do for E, how it will correct the issue, why it's important, etc asking people to please donate.

Some jackhole commented on H's blog that she was "stealing money" and that they live in the suburbs and send their kids to summer camp and have lessons and eat food and should STFU and buck up the dough. The therapy is around $3000. Small potatoes when compared to other types of therapy and interventions for disabilities, but still a lot of damn money for any family, regardless of thie jobs or where their flipping house is located. H was told that because E isn't dying of cancer or going blind that they are trying to swindle people and take advantage of them.

What the hell? And, it turns out, it's family what has this opinion. I don'tknow if it's family on my side of their family of H's side, but holy hell.

Mean people, especially when it's mean family, suck. I'm so furious on their behalf that I don't even know what.
