Yup - fast food place, manager got a call and was told to have a girl strip and search her, hold her until the police came. And, of course, they never did.
It happened a bunch of times, IIRC, and was really traumatic for the people involved. (Not unlike how I might imagine the Stanford experiment people felt, though hopefully to a lesser degree.)
