Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My children have decided that my nickname is "Peaches." I am SO NOT A PEACHES I CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU.

This is making me laugh and laugh and laugh.

I am not particularly nickname-able for some reason- possibly the name "Nadine" doesn't lend itself well? My grandma called me "Beanie" when I was little, and in fifth grade my best (male) friend) decided I should be called "Neigh-Moo". I was occasionally called "Moo" for a very long time. It was not the most fun nickname ever, although it wasn't referring to my weight. And in college I had one friend who decided I needed a nickname and called me "Mel". Actually, he still called me "Mel".

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I've talked about my junior high nickname of "Kasbee" here, so I won't bother going into that painful experience again. The only family nickname I've ever had is "Kit-Kat," which my sister calls me occasionally. My sister and I used to call our brother BB for Big Brother, which we then expanded to BBB when he started to shave his head, but that sort of died out about 20 years ago. After my sister moved to the Oregon/Washington area, she switched to using her full first name, and not the abbreviated one she'd always used (in the majority male field of computers and IT, "Kris" will by default be presumed to be a guy, whereas "Kristine" never has that problem). However, I still call her Kris and always will, even though she has asked me to try and remember to call her Kristine when we're around others, otherwise they get confused.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

My children have decided that my nickname is "Peaches." I am SO NOT A PEACHES I CANNOT EVEN TELL YOU.

Tell them that nickname is already taken by Jeff Probst (who is TOTALLY a Peaches) so they'll have to find you a new one.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Ahaha Peaches.

My board name started as a RL nickname, as I believe I've shared before.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I've never had a nickname stick, but I will totally answer to G.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I think of 30 year olds as really young.

Man, but I'm totally an Old! I talk about investing and exercise, and want those kids offa my lawn! Um, when I'm not wearing Threadless T-shirts to work and making inappropriate comments in public?

Now that I'm going back to school for my master's, I have a lot more interaction with early-20-somethings than I have since I was that age, and it's a big shock to say the least. I'll mention a tv show from the 70s or 80s, and they have no idea what I'm talking about.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

What Toddson said.

I had actually been looking forward to 45 last summer, but that hasn't really worked out all that well.
