Dawn: I think a date should be in a real fancy restaurant, then champagne at a night club with a floor show, then ballroom dancing. Joyce: Unfortunately, we're not dating in a movie from the thirties.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

It's been my Hitchhiker year!

I've tried to think of it as my Life, The Universe and Everything year but it hasn't been all that momentous so far.

This past week I've been drinking Leinie's Berry Weiss. I may have gone a full year without buying beer until this week.

Yeah, my Hitchhiker's year has been a little too momentous in a bad way. I am looking forward to 43 a LOT, because 42 has not been that great, so far. The rest of the year needs to be winning lottery numbers, book deals, and trips to Disneyland to make up for it.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

The numbers conversation is hilarious. Where is Nilly when you need her?

Oh but sarameg, what's with this not liking 7? What's not to like?

I just finished my nails. Fun, but now I need to wait for them to dry before bed. D'oh!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ha ha, you guys are making me laff. We are all a decade older! How did that happen?!!

Right??

I am glad other people have these issues with the number of their age -- not everyone agrees with me that 37 is bullshit (especially after 36, which is so nice!), and I don't understand why not....

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'll be 34. Which is so mid-thirties, and not hardly "early" 30s at all. Scary.

I'm turning 33 this year and realized the other day that I was mentally categorizing 30 year-olds as "really young." (My neighbor asked me how old our new babysitter was and my knee-jerk response was "She's really young" and then I realized she was probably only a year or two younger than me.)

Ha ha, you guys are making me laff. We are all a decade older! How did that happen?!!

I blame MM - wasn't he supposed to be working on a time machine?

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I suspect a small miscalculation on MM's part made time go faster instead of transporting us, but I'm sure he'll get the kinks worked out... in time.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

I think of 30 year olds as really young. I still think of Jessica and Meara as really young, actually.

I'll be 39 this year, but I've been thinking of myself as 40 for so long that it's silly.

Did I mention, Noah calls me Old Mom? (K is young mom...) It comes up when we are playing games because you go from youngest to oldest and I always go last.

Aw! Do you call them Old Twin and Young Twin?
