Even Loki found it too miserable to stay out on the deck or beg to go for a walk.

My crazyass cats, one of whom has Very Thick Fur, stayed out on the porch for ridiculous amount of time today. It was in the triple digits and humid enough to swim in. I had to bring them in periodically.

I went bowling. I bowled 42. This is ridiculously horrible, but at least it's a good number.

I am trying to think of my new age (beginning next Tuesday) with the same concept!

I am so sad that I only get to be 42 for another couple of weeks. It's been my Hitchhiker year! I DON'T WANT TO BE ANY OTHER AGE. I mean, 44 won't be bad, and 45 is kind of aesthetically pleasing to me for some reason (less so than 48 and 49, but still rather nice in its fiveish way), but 43? After the glory of 42 ? No. No, no, no.

I'll be 39 this year. Wow, that's weird. That's the last year of my 30's. Inneresting...

Oh, well, it's August. I imagine it'll be a nice dinner, several drinks and that'll be fine.

Maybe I'll have a big party for 40...or better yet, be able to take a trip with my girlfriends. 3 of us turn 40 in a three month window.

Well, for the most part, that but that's true of any age. I had some good times in my mid-thirties!
