IT has asked for my password plenty of times when they needed to configure my computer or something, so I thought nothing of it. It was always someone I knew, though. Now we're a growing company and who knows who's over there?
IT has never asked for my password. That's what the admin password is for.
The closest I've ever gotten to that is when they have me log in and then they access my desktop remotely.
Yeah, either they log in with the admin password, or have me do it.
