I would be there right now.

Yep, it's from Landover Baptist

It didn't originate there; there are earlier postings. But nobody is referring to it seriously, and nobody seems to have an original source, so yeah: Poe's law.

Any theories about what kind of tap dancing extravaganza Kim Jong-il was hoping to put on? [link]

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I feel like there is a flash mob thing gearing up on Michigan Ave right now (bunch of disparate people carrying the same things and lining up equidistant on a side street.) To which I can only say, today is not the day, folks.

Punishingly Intricate

He informed me that that had been a social engineering project. That man hadn't actually been from IT. I had given him my password. I had failed.

Oh! We had that as an example in a security training we just did!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Our IT never asks for our passwords (or they haven't yet!) and yet, I would totally give it up, I bet.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I've been asked to stay logged in so IT can work on my machine after-hours, but I'm pretty sure if they needed my password they'd just reset it to abc123.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

IT has asked for my password plenty of times when they needed to configure my computer or something, so I thought nothing of it. It was always someone I knew, though. Now we're a growing company and who knows who's over there?

IT has never asked for my password. That's what the admin password is for.

The closest I've ever gotten to that is when they have me log in and then they access my desktop remotely.
