Our wings are not tired.

Nope, this is full time at the office. We're paying through the nose for a nanny share until we can get Aeryn into a family day are.

Oh wow, big changes! That's great for all four of you!

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Yay Ethan!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Amy,

For values of "new media journalist", I'd say he's as much of one as Arianna Huffington. For the record, though, I have no real feelings about either one of them.

I'm going to have to disagree with you here. Arianna has not "caught" people in a faux sting and edited video footage to make people look guilty.

I don't think Breitbart is even wants "truth" in any way, shape, or form. Which is what I think the first goal of a journalist should be.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Congratulations, Ethan!

You know, if my cousin doesn't call me soon, we aren't doing dinner. I told her she was staying near work. She isn't staying near home. So if I get home, no dinner.

Also, why would you tell someone who's had chronic migraines for years that it "might have to do with your diet?" Do you think they're a moron? Seriously?

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

True, but ISTR that Breitbart mostly serves as a pass-through himself. I'm sure Huffington doesn't fact-check everything posted on HuffPo, either.

Congratulations to Ethan!

ita, it's clear to me from talking to Betsy that people are very ill-informed about migraines and assume that you are too, even though you're the one who has them.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I just came in here to get the take on the Weiner ish.

I'm puzzled as to how Breitbart got hold of the pics.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Allyson,

Weiner meant to DM them on twitter, but they went out on his public twitter stream. Another follower picked it up.

Amy,

It is one thing to not fact-check what other people are writing on your site and it is another to knowingly perpetuate lies.

Sure, but he continues to "pass through" long after things have been thoroughly and publically debunked.

(I don't know that I'm convinced his role is so passive, but that's more than I can speak to right now while I try to get out of the office.)

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Note: I'm not a huge Arianna fan and I'm dismayed with the Aol merger stuff, but Breitbart is evil. He really is.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I'm puzzled as to how Breitbart got hold of the pics.

Apparently one of the women he was "corresponding" with mentioned the exchange to a Republican friend, who suggested she contact Drudge and Breitbart. ABC has an interview with her. [link]
