Just got back from pre-80s prom drinks at my neighbor's. OMG, bubble dresses! Jellie bracelets! BIG HAIR! Popped collars and white jeans on guys and board shorts. (It's a yearly thing. I'm clearly not going, but enjoy their outfits and company and provide photographer duty.)
And I did something never accomplished before: Kittyboy got out and I chased him down and scooped him up. No one not Sarah has accomplished this. Hell, she rarely can manage it. And no blood was drawn. Everyone was in shock. I think Kittyboy most of all. He looked totally stunned. He didn't even hiss until I'd dropped him on his livingroom floor. Ahahah.
That cast for Company looks terrific.
One more for hands and I swear I'll be done bouncing around like I'm 13 and just got a new Tiger Beat with Menudo on the cover: [link]
I just rewatched ET, and now I totally understand why the mother freaked right the fuck out.
I did, too, and I was APPALLED by the mom leaving Gertie home alone. She was five! Some of the stuff that escaped her notice was just boggling. But it's very much from a child's POV, which is part of its magic.
I am attempting and mostly failing to not eat All the Food. I'm at a work meeting all weekend in Atlanta, and they feed us three meals and two snacks a day. OMG. We were all excited at the first snack, it was healthy food! Apples with bee pollen yogurt (??) and carrot mango smoothies in shot glasses, and smoked salmon an avocado on a slice of bread! And then the afternoon snack was soft pretzels, popcorn, and full size candy bars. Ugh.
Allyson. Whoa. You say he's in Ninja Assassin?
Yes. Mostly kicking the shit out of things and bleeding.
Hmm. These things are relevant to my interests.
This is what I am saying.
Mmm, that healthy snack sounds great, meara.
