Art Crawl!!!

Best friend just texted that her dog is gone.

Fall of '09 she had five pets: 3 dogs; 2 cats. One cat seriously ailing: put down over Thanksgiving Weekend. Then her oldest dog - lost to cancer in Spring 2010. And now the middle dog: also lost to cancer.

Her remaining cat is also ailing.

From 5 pets to two in 18 months.

I feel for her and I worry for myself with only one ancient cat.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have given up on today. It's just not happening. It's weird, because I was comatose most of yesterday, but it doesn't seem to have helped.

Quick questons: Batman can beat Iron Man y/y? But can movie Batman beat movie Iron Man?

Also, can Wonder Woman beat Superman?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

BMW clad in leather is literally one hot car

ost folks love their German luxury cars fast, powerful, sleek and outfitted with only the finest Italian leather seats inside of their cars. This person loves cow skin so much, he decided to pimp the inside and outside of his BMW entirely with it.

Throughout the years, we've seen chrome cars, gold cars, carbon fiber cars, geek cars, green cars, junk cars and more, but we've never seen a leather car. That's right, some person on this planet decided having leather inside of their luxury car wasn't enough, so they had it skinned on the outside as well.

Sounds like a cart for the Antarctic, where it's sunny and not raining, but not cold.

Sheesh, Sue, that's too much morning for morning.

I am already ready to call it a day.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Stripey sleeveless dress with tiny buttons down the front and robin's-egg trim, or short-sleeved shirtdress in a seafoam floral with a rolled collar?

Which did you choose? I'm intrigued by robin's egg trim.

Quick questons: Batman can beat Iron Man y/y? But can movie Batman beat movie Iron Man?

Depends on the scenario, I'd guess. If they were both in a squash court I'd have to lean towards Iron Man.

Also, can Wonder Woman beat Superman?

If she had a magic sword? He's vulnerable to magic. People forget he's almost as fast as the Flash.

Her lassoo is magic, no?

I think if Batman knew he was going to fight Iron Man, there's no way he'd lose. If it was a long form thing, where he had to track down IM and kill him wherever, he'd win. Better than Iron Man would in the flip side.

But in the movies, Stark is an amazing scientist with a suit or two of his own design. Bats is a fitness fanatic martial artist with borrowed tech--we don't get to see as much of his scientific/engineer process (he could build a suit if he wanted one) and detective skills.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

Today was the first day of mac's summer program. He was "terrified" poor noodle, even knowing that 5 boys from his school will be in his section.

I put DE out on my fire ants this morning, I hope it kills them dead dead mcdeady.

So at work this morning I have almost nothing to do. My boss us out for an hour so I took the liberty to vacuum the offices and clean the nasty keyboard and take out the recycling. If I get one pile of papers alpha'd, 4 folders filed, and one new sale entered in the various programs then I will all done by the time she arrives and starts issueing today's marching orders.

Punishingly Intricate

I'm going to have to do that couch to 5k thing when I get out of the boot I have to wear for the next couple of weeks. I just signed up for this:
