Pix, I was going to say Barcelona. And I went to both without any Spanish. But I did end up in Morocco accidentally so your mileage may vary.

I folded ALL THE CLOTHES today. And yogad. And groceried. And did the first part of the behavioral therapy assessment and 4 hours of PD.

Polgara, wanna come and eat meat from the grill with us on Monday?

Oo, that would be awesome!

(How do you know when I'm lurking? Or was it just a guess?)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

You really might have too many shoes.

This is what I'm saying.

Announcement: I found a new cocktail to make at home, involving both bourbon and tequila.

Analysis: I'm perhaps a little tipsy.

It was a guess! We bought a mixed grill thing at the grocery (and by we I mean me) that has chicken, brats, and burgers... and I immediately thought of you because you're my favorite person to share patriotic holidays with!

LOL! Well, it was a good guess, I just finished catching up a couple of hours ago from my week away. And yes to Monday! Just let me know what time, and what I can bring. :-)

UGH. We are trying to figure out how much it is going to cost our family of 4 to get to Cleveland. It's $2000 in airfare + car rental or a long boring drive cross country at ~$1000 in gas money + places to stay.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The Good Wife: If a guy spent $7800 on a room to have sex with me, I wouldn't even know what to think. ESPECIALLY if he was my boss. I don't even.

ita, when I saw that I thought MY GOD that's a lot of money...can't you just walk down the street to a DIFFERENT HOTEL? I know you're all about doing it NOW NOW NOW, but...there's probably another hotel next door.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I liked Barcelona better than Madrid, but that might be because I got almost-robbed three times in two days in Madrid. Barcelona's more laid back and has yummy seafood, and for cheap fun you can hit the farmer's market and take a picnic up to Parc Guell, which Gaudi designed.

Speaking of decluttering, my sister came over this evening. We only packed one medium box of clothes and one large storage container of shoes, but we also went out and found me a pair of trousers that actually fit and almost bought an interview suit, and we got rid of as much as we packed. Tomorrow we Craigslist stuff to sell, and I might go try and find a suit.
