The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

No new shoes for you. Put all the other shoes you plan to keep in a bin or shopping bag. Once you wear a pair they can put away in a normal place. In month or two clear out some that have not been worn.

If I hadn't just organized them, this would be a really good plan. But it would mean undoing some of the work I just did, and I don't see that happening, I'm afraid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Well, I just sorted through my shoes and I still have too many heels I'm not willing to get rid of. I would really hate to have to buy them for an event again.

Our wings are not tired.

So... I went to Target, and accidentally bought 4 dresses: [link] [link] [link] [link]

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Pretty dresses, shrift!

Weird. The Soma in the mall I went to had the exact same "Panty Raid" sign as the Victoria's Secret a few doors down.

I've never been to Chico's. I'm not entirely sure I've heard of them.

Ooh, I especially like that last dress shrift.

I'm randomly watching an episode of Family Guy, and I'm not sure why my sister is making me do this.

hip deep in pie

3 hours to clean my room, but I did all clothes put away, drawers ordered, bed changed, floor vacuumed, and half the surfaces decluttered. I have too much stuff and too much of it in my bedroom.

My bedroom is always the last room I clean, and often gets neglected. Also, it's the dumping ground if people are coming over and I need to do a quick tidy, so it's always full of crap. Not so much for being a relaxing sanctuary.

I've been cleaning and cleaning and the difference is just barely discernible, if you squint.

Oh I hear you.

I have too many shoes.

I do not understand these words.

I have a pair of black suede 4" slingbacks with a closed toe with a red sole, and a pair without. I can't decide which one to keep, so I keep them both. Such is the problem with my closet bloat.

I do not understand these words.

I don't have enough room for my shoes.

And I have a number still in their boxes.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

And I have a number still in their boxes.

You really might have too many shoes.
