I was so bummed because I couldn't post from my iPhone, and then finally realized that I wasn't logged into b.org. Silly me.
Quester, I'm so glad you got your presents, and even gladder that you like them. It was fun having you as a seekrit santee again!
Suzi's ornament is amazing. I am inspired. Since I've pretty much had to give up knitting and crocheting from the carpal tunnel (hence the lack of anything homemade for quester), I may have to dig out my beads and see if I can still do that. That would be nice.
Thanks libkitty. I had carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand something like 15 years ago and I've had to give up cross stitching. Somehow beading is much easier on my wrist. Probably because there is not as much motion concentrated on the wrist.
I think I'm going to switch to wine bottle drapes after the new year. Then watch out etsy.
So glad you liked them...I thought they were pretty. And I'm glad there won't be further shipping drama, either.
libkitty, people are going to think we cheated! But you are an awesome Secret Santa!
Thank you, Secret Santa, for the first part of my gift! I will frolic merrily at Amazon and spend it, especially since I just used up previous gift certificates on other people's presents.
My Secret Santa gift is finally in the mail! Whoot.
I'm with ita. I don't have the ability to do the secret Santa exchange, but it makes me happy every year to watch it unfold.
Thank you, Kate P.!
I came home yesterday to a package containing a cinnamon chili chocolate bar, some yummy sounding tea that will be in my belly tonight, and a Laura Veirs CD. I know about Laura Veirs from fandom and the internet, but don't have anything by her, so that's going on my iPod post-haste.
It was a lovely Boxing Day present.
Secret Santa Sumi, thanks for the Godiva.
My cat just started playing with a gift tag that was next to me on the couch. She had been sleeping on top of it, and she just sat up and started playing with it. Then, she picked up and pranced off with it as if it were the best Christmas present ever. One would think she was a kitten instead of 12 years old. How perfect is that?!
