Played with Kaylee. Sun came out, and I walked on my feet and heard with my ears. I ate the bits, the bits stayed down, and I work. I function like I'm a girl. I hate it because I know it'll go away. The sun goes dark and chaos has come again. Bits. Fluids. What am I?!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

We have a cleaning person come every two weeks. It's AWESOME. Two dogs and two cats make a lot of furballs, yo.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Turner Classic Movies alone occupies such a large chunk of my viewing that it would be difficult to forego cable. Throw in baseball, Mad Men and the kids programming, and its rare for us to go into the "low channels." I think it's just HIMYM and Glee now, and we for a long time it was just HIMYM.

I value finding things I wasn't looking for.

Like, the difference between a great song coming up on the radio and just punching it up on your iPod?

Similar to what I like about going into a bookstore and browsing. It's a form of thinking for me, a kind of meditation. I get the same thing from scrolling through the listings of upcoming TCM movies and marking them to record then watching them.

If I want to become a cloud of bats, does each bat need a separate vaccination?

The few times I've been cable-less and watching shows online instead, the picture quality just depressed me. Maybe we shouldn't have bought such a nice TV when we upgraded everything to HD!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Yeah, I did scale down my cable and lose TCM, but I do miss that a little. Not enough to pay fifteen or twenty bucks a month, but a little.

I enjoy those thing too, just not enough to pay for the difference of Netflix vs. cable. $9.80 vs. $80.00/month. Plus, I can browse the movies on Netflix and build a ridiculously long queue to surprise me.
