Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Implanted LEDs sounds like a good recipe for never sleeping again.

Especially if they're implanted inside your eyelids.

brillig

With implantable LEDs, my mind went immediately to implantable vid screens, so you won't even need a separate device to connect to the web. It seems the next logical step.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

If I had the internet on my arm I would never get anything done ever again.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sleep doc says I'm catching up on my sleep debt, which is why I feel like ass, I'm to take the dosage down 25mg, and take it three hours before bedtime.

Meanwhile, last pain meds refill was just for 1 week, so I have to cyber-stalk the migraine specialist's assistant again.

I've been way too productive working from home. I think it is guilt that motivates me.

But the soundtrack of a cat pleading to go out and another who wants my lap, loudly, and the toxic gas cloud the 3rd produced....yeah. Plus it is hard for me to NOT straighten up around the house.

Also, my laptop does not like sharing the network with my work computer. Or something. It's being weirdly slow online.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I really kinda hate your doc.

I like Seche but it seems to not work for me with Nubar polish. Yet does with others that should also be less mixy. I just have to remove my polish when I notice the very first chip or flake so I don't peel layers off of my nails.

I am going to get some of the Diamante next time I do a Nubar order.

Once I use up my Poshe, I am not getting more. It's been cranky on me the last several times I've used it.

I thought sleep dep was bogus. But apparently that's why I can't drive. This fucking better not happen tomorrow too, even with her modified dosage.

Also, the low blood pressure is my fault for not hydrating enough. Also, I need to eat protein with my pills

This is tiresome.

From everything I've read and been told, sleep dep exists. But you can't just magically refill it. It's not like you can sleep less for a while and make up the time. You can start getting good sleep, but there's no magic pot that is finally filled up and you are okay.

I really hate her.

Especially since that same drug knocked me on my ass. Literally a couple of times. I felt like I was tranq'ed and it wasn't like I was getting awesome sleep either.

Grrrr.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

You DO have to keep hydrated and eat protein. That is all.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The idea that I was so staunchly sleep deprived from Ambien, and that this is working (I told her I barely slept any of the nights, but she's adamant it's working) and that this drug will let me reach back to the bad, bad times and even them out--not yet substantiated.

She's very dismissive. I'm not sure being able to get in touch with her is even a better thing. Because if I couldn't, I would have switched back to Ambien tonight.
