Nilly!
I woke up inexplicably at 6, but it was a twitchy awake. Spent the next 3ish hours unsuccessfully trying to go back to sleep. Gave up and did a TJs run. Still feeling twitchy. Will go swim in a bit to see if that helps. I NEED to get started on the next phase of the stairs, but I'm having the "ack, new skills! Don't know what I'm doing!" avoidance mode.
Drive-by, as I'm on my way up to the mountains to chill for a couple of days--
But here's some awesome photos from the Rally to Restore Sanity yesterday:

Don't Panic, indeed.
Happy Anniversary, House of Reason!

Happy Anniversary Jilli and Pete!
It is, in fact, their 13th Anniversary! Spooooooky!
Nilly! It's so good to see you posting here.
ita, it sounds like you're having a good time in Vancouver, except for the looming headache. I hope your head decides to behave and that good times continue to be had.
My goodness, voting is hard.
I have one question on the ballot I really can't figure out. It's about turning the secretary of state position into a lt. governor position, where they would then run together on one ticket after being selected in primaries.
And now, already, after typing it out, I can see I don't want to do that. The current candidate running, Chris Deschene is the first Navajo to ever do so. I think he stands a real chance at being the highest elected Navajo official in our state government. But if he had to run as a lieutenant governor, it would never happen. No one would take that risk.
So there we go.
What else can I resolve just by typing it out?
My goodness, voting is hard.
Can you explicate? Did Republicans play an important role in designing voting rules where you are, or gain control of implementation?
Happy anniversary, House of Reason!
