The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh wait, that's me.

Burrito?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Mmm, I love a well roasted duck. Yum. Miss my mother's duck, it was always superb.

My store said it was seasonal, but who knows.

Sadly true, I'm afraid. I bought a tin as soon as I saw it in the stores in Dec. Wish I had had the foresight to buy two. Although it really is too dark and thick for me to drink in 80 degree weather, but on a cold rainy day like today? Perfection.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I was reading something recently - a novel, probably - that kept referring to one of the characters taking his morning chocolate, and made me want to sip chocolate all the time.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Flash flood warnings for LA County, for those who may not be watching TV.

What is this sipping chocolate? What makes it different from other chocolates? Why do I suddenly sound Jewish High Holiday?

Just lost power again. I wonder if it's just our building.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

What is this sipping chocolate?

It's chocolate that you sip. It's how the Europeans first experienced chocolate!

What makes it different from other chocolates?

It's super-crazy rich.

Can't you just fake it with other chocolate? I mean, just use more?

Lost power AGAIN. And this time there was cursing from across the courtyard.

My poor TiVo. It didn't even have time to come all the way back up before it went down again. I don't think I'm resetting my oven clocks until tomorrow. Thank dog my alarm clock sets itself off the internet.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It's shaved chocolate, not cocoa powder, is my understanding.

Because books.

It's shaved chocolate, not cocoa powder, is my understanding.

So it's really more like drinking melted chocolate?

That might actually be too rich for me.

Maybe? The directions on the can have you use the same amount of mix (3T) for 1/2 cup of sipping chocolate as a cup of decadent hot chocolate, though you are also supposed to add sugar to the second.

And the 3T of mix is supposed to weigh 28g, so maybe you could do the same thing with 1/3C milk and 1 oz of bittersweet or semi-sweet or whatever you like chocolate? With lots of blending?

Eta: the ingredients are cocoa powder, cane sugar, chocolate liquor, and cocoa butter
