Zoe: First rule of battle, little one. Don't ever let 'em know where you are. Mal: Whoo-hoo! I'm right here! I'm right here! You want some of me? Yeah, you do! Come on! Come on! Aaah! Whoo-hoo! Zoe: Of course, there are other schools of thought...

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Dude, CASTLE DRACULA IS FOR SALE. The current owner can't deal with the taxes. Guess how badly I want this, go on, guess. I could even make a quasi-legitimate family claim for it, since we are descended from good ol' Vlad by way of a serving girl.

I would be at least as willing to help you buy Castle Dracula as I am to help Nathan buy Firefly.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I should be doing laundry and/or cleaning, but I think I am going to make apple cake instead.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

El Estupido! I left the lights on for the car and killed the battery. Stupid rainy weather lights on! Stupid car that used to have a chiming alarm that alerted me to the lights being on after I turned off the engine, but the alarm doesn't work anymore. But mostly stupid me.

Oh well, I paid my penance by waiting 45 minutes for the roadside service jump start.

Occasionally I’m callous and strange

but Vlad only stayed there ONE night. That's a pretty tangential link. OTOH.....CASTLE!!!!!

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Sending you warm thoughts, Jilli. I'm glad you can rest and be pampered for the rest of the day.

Egad, it is pouring buckets outside. So wet today! I think I need to go make some hot cocoa to go with this wet, rainy day.

information libertarian

I am at work and have only been here 80 minutes and I am so bored. Have to be here until 10pm. There are a zillion things I could do, but when I am at work on Sundays I only seem capable of zoning out on the internets.

Mmm, just made some of the TJs sipping chocolate. Sooo chocolatey and good. Although I will probably regret letting the kids drink it in the den.

I tried to go to the spa with SA but it was closed on Sundays, which I'd forgotten. grr. So we did some random driving around instead, looking at the gorgeous lake and mountains.

I've loved the BR jeans in the past, and their "regular" inseam is totally my inseam now, which I think is crazy, because doesn't that mean most people have to get them hemmed? Or I guess they are meant for wearing heels.

I bought 5 pairs of jeans at the Goodwill a few weeks ago--all the same size, all "regular" length--I'm 5'5 and about one pair is good with flats (a bit long), another pair is good with low heels...and a couple pairs are too long even with tall heels.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I love that stuff, Burrell! So delicious.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Power is back! I was just logging in with my phone to whine about that. But who knows how long it will stay on. It's been going up and down like a sex-negative slur all afternoon.

My OTJ is one particular cut of Lucky Seven, and I wish they had this cut in black. But I guess black jeans aren't as big a deal as they used to be.
