We now have a family chart of chores. Somethings are everyday things, then each day we each have one specific thing to do around the house.

The front room is looking the best it has thus far. I tranferred items from an old paper box to a plastic bin and toassed a good half inch of papers. Also cleared out a partially emptied large plastic bin, so that will go to the garage. Depending on when the guests get here tomorrow, I may go through some files for more papers to shred.

I went to the doctor for help with the migraine. After I got a shot for the pain, and while I was waiting to see if there were any deadly side effects, I checked my phone to discover that large amounts of shit hit the fan yesterday at work.

So now I'm working.

Like, "don't answer the phone if a reporter calls you" bad shit.

I am mind-crushingly depressed. I think it's due to all the cold medicine and will pass, but my mind is just drowning in hopeless/worthless stew. I hate being unable to reason out of chemical issues. It feels very unfair.

I meant to do lots of stuff today, but instead I took a very long nap, so now I am trying to do some of it now.

There was a fair number of people in Halloween costumes on the bus today, so I do think there are festivities today.

I am listening to a fayjay read arthur/eames podfic. But since I have never seen inception, I am picture Arthur from the BBC Merlin, and Eames from L&O: CI.

I am fighting a bit of a headache, and trying to decide what the heck to wear to a party tonight. But at least I finally have a party to go to (though it's thrown by the smelly hippies, so we'll see how long I last, I always feel madly out of place). (Costume choices include a boyscout shirt, but nothing else that makes it costumey, or devil horns, but no idea what to wear with that...)
