Can't drink, smoke, diddle my willy. Doesn't leave much to do other than watch you blokes stumble around playing Agatha Christie.

(This is why it BLOWS MY MIND my stepson cannot even make a sandwich and he's almost 9.)

I've been watching Junior Masterchef Australia. It is inCREDible. 8-12 year olds who are basically 5 star chefs. Creative, poised, skilled and cordial.

Somehow, I can't imagine that show making it in America.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

they would have to change the parameters of the show:

"Kids Cook the Silliest Things"

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

They're pretty incredible, aren't they? I don't watch the show, but I've caught snippets here and there. Not just their cooking ability, but the presentation is excellent.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh, wait, it's not a book made of bacon here you peel off the leaves and fry them up, is it?

I'm so glad it wasn't just me, -t. I was thinking, it's like in Harry Potter, The Bacon Book of Bacon!

My kids haven't popped popcorn, but they have helped me bake before.

"Kids Cook the Silliest Things"

Spot. On.

Not just their cooking ability, but the presentation is excellent.

Seriously. The kids are awesome, the judges are super helpful, the food is enticing. It's all just so lovely.

Not that I'm addicted or anything, but I love the one season of Celebrity Masterchef Australia as well. Rockers. Swimmers. Journalists. Politicians. All with an amazing penchant for fine food. A joy to watch.

Oh! And Conviction Kitchen!

I just love the Aussies.

Steph, are you still up? My roommate has a mixing medications question: [link]

I posted a reply full of my usual caveats. Do let me know if her head blows up like Scanners.
