Why are you quitting soy milk, Kate?
Well, I doubt I'll quit it altogether, but I go through a carton every week or so now, between using it in cereal, tea, coffee, etc., so I'd like to cut back. We're going to start trying to get pregnant (!) sometime this year, and I've heard that too much soy can muck around with your hormones, though I admit I'm fuzzy on the specifics. But it's something I can probably do without too much trouble, so it seems worth a try.
Yeah, we use it a bunch. But we're not trying to get pregnant! Go you!
OK sorry if I was offensive trying to be funny. And wont keep going but dried fruit is actually pretty close to candy. That was the only serious point I was making.
I've been trying to cut down on soy milk, just because I realized that I'm eating a lot of soy and should probably have some more variety, so I switched to almond milk and discovered that I like it much better than soy milk.
I wish I had peapod. I really don't feel like grocering.
Suzi, that is awesome. I have been trying to eat better lately and failing. Snacking is killing me.
Well, thank god it's a nice day here, since my plan to run errands was totally foiled. I planned to use up all my shopping groupons and two of the stores were closed. I didn't bother going to the third since it was way across town and I wasn't about to test my luck any further. One of the groupons was for framing, so I was schlepping a small painting around with me all day.
I also went well out of my way to the farmers market to buy milk and they were out, even though the dairy was giving out samples, so I got in line.
I did manage to buy new sunglasses, a new pie plate and a belt, so I did do some things. And it was a beautiful day for a wander.
And wont keep going but dried fruit is actually pretty close to candy.
As far as sugar content goes, perhaps. But it does have fiber and other vitamins. Sugar content is not the only factor in determining health.
Tomorrow is pi[e] day...I may have to try out the new plate tonight.
