The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

She recovered fairly quickly, at least.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hec, that link is AWESOME!

Cool beans, huh? I took Emmett to see roller derby at Kezar Stadium (which is basically across the street from us, and where the Bay City Bombers skated for years) when he was 2. We got to see Anne Calvello skate! And she was like in her sixties!

Because books.

There's a lot of flooding around here, and I bet in Bucks Co. up by the Delaware it's pretty bad, too. It's been pissing down rain all. goddamn. day.

Perkins, was she stuck for a minute? Or just freaked out?

At Meadowbrook?
Ya. Agree about the cost.

Oh that's a gray bike shop there - hope they are ok!

The last flood we were in was Isabel. Can't say I miss it.

the only Bucks Co. I know is in PA, and that's near where my stepson lives. Is that the area that you're talking about?

Stay safe, guys! I lived through the Flood of 93 and flooding is devatastating.

4 weeks of bathing and drinking out of water stored in a old pickle barrel. It made me WAY more compassionate towards people without plumbing, that's for sure.

She just freaked out, because there were maintenance men here, and they rang the door bell, and all sorts of other evil evil things, plus she kind of ran into me in her rush to get away from the evil men, and got even more scared.

Loki hid in the cabinet under the sink when my bed was delivered. And he's pretty friendly with strangers. They recover. Walnut brains.

Poor Dita.

It is, Erin. Do they live along the Delaware? That's the only place to be concerned about, really. And I'm just speculating, based on what used to happen in Yardley when we lived there.
