Inara: So, explain to me again why Zoe wasn't in the dress? Mal: Tactics, woman. Needed her in the back. 'Sides, those soft cotton dresses feel kinda nice. It's the whole... air-flow.

Zuisa, this is funny to me (and possibly to ita) because she and her sister came to visit DC, and when we went out to brunch, ita's sister sent the server back to the kitchen 2 or 3 times for spices so she could adjust her food.

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

I don't even think I could name enough spices to know what to request for food. This is why I don't cook much.

And I'm sorry if I am excessively chatty! I just literally have nothing to do other than maintain some semblance of order in this classroom. Hence lots and lots of internet.

Zuisa, have you met us? Excessively chatty is what we do

No concrete Halloween plans yet, though I've put out a feeler to Inappropriately Young Guy about what he's doing. I might go see a Rocky Horror screening in a neighboring town if he's free or if I find friends who are game.

It occurs to me that since I have access to a couple of discarded wheelchairs, I'm really just some fishnets and a pair of stiletto heels away from having a workable Dr. Scott costume.

I wish I could just go somewhere to get flensed but none of the whaling ships near me take Medicare.

The RHPS Glee ep made me realize it's been years since I saw a RHPS live show. I'd love to do that. There used to be one at our local theater here but it's been closed for seismic issues for a while now, sadly.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Morning, all. I am am awake, and I feel better than I have in two days! I guess that''s why people always drink toddies for colds in old-fashioned books!

I was using the bit of rum left in a bottles someone had brought to a party; I may need to invest in some rum. Purely for medicinal purposes.

Although I apologize for inflicting the garble on y'all. Those little keys are SLIPPERY, I tell you!

I'm going to send out some resumes, do some cleaning, go to the library, and then tomorrow I'm going to try to put together my Zombie Apocalypse outfit for the party tomorrow night.

Thanks. I think that the only thing I do more than chat is worry that I am being too chatty, so my brain is lodged in a pretty vicious cycle between wanting to talk and wanting to show some sense of propriety.

RE: Halloween, I think that if I can find the necessary articles of clothing in my house, I will dress up as Kim Possible. I don't have any other plans aside from handing out the candy on Sunday night. I would LOVE to go to a party on Saturday, but all my friends live in a different time zone. But I was a theater major (sort of), any excuse to dress up is a good day in my book!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Me? I'm going to Vancouver. Where's the damned shuttle? Why am I still on the computer?

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

I'm going to Vancouver.

Awesome!!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

This weekend I'm going to see the last "The Girl With..." movie. Also obsessing about which clothes I bring on my business trip to Minneapolis next week. All my travel anxiety always goes right into wardrobe and I start thinking about "outfits" and appearance way WAY more than I usually do.
