If I lived in a state with medical marijuana, I'd at least give it a try for my fibromyalgia, which might make it more bearable on bad days.
It's now turned 60F outside, and you can see legitimate bare ground in my backyard. The downside of that is you can see how ugly it is, but oh well.
ita, that really sucks that it is so difficult for you to get what you need for your migraines. I have definitely wanted to do violence to ER doctors on behalf of people I've been caring for, to the tune of, "Look, Doc, I realize that to you, breakthrough seizures equal adjustment in seizure meds, but to me they mean he's got a serious infection of some kind. So if all you do is add that seizure med that makes him too loopy to walk, I will still have to take him to his PCP during regular office hours to get the infection found and treated. And then he'll be stuck being unable to walk for the six weeks it takes to get him in to his neurologist to get the loopy crap discontinued." Wish I could fit that on a stick to hit them with.
Kristin, what Panera? I am headed to yoga in 30 minutes and i'm not sure I can convince K to be boss of the kids after this morning. But if I can, I'll be there as I have 3 paper sets to go.
Hmm. The cornbread is a little weird because the mix was really sweet. But the box suggested the parm! Ah well.
Playing rock-paper-scissors on the NYT page. The computer is beating me but not by much. Score is 23-27-27. I figured out how it was thinking then it realized that I figured it out. Still, better odds than this [link] .
I adore corn bread with chili.
I made tacos for lunch. I'm now working on a press release for a derby event.
I better not even start the rock-paper-scissors link or I will get sucked in.
I just made a big batch of oatmeal on the stove, as a dry run for making it tomorrow morning. It is NOW: oats, cinn, cran, walnuts, vanilla and half and half.
DH is superskinny, so the calories are good for him, and I just add a bit off half and half at the end. It's dairy, which we both need.
Also, put together a creamy chicken soup in the crock pot, and I have to eat oatmeal, finish making this quiz, run an errand, and then grade, grade, grade!
Kat, Kristin, I will be with you in spirit!
I just finished making brioche dough for a King Cake. I've set it aside to rise, and hopefully it will do so.
Kat, I'm at the one in Pasadena off Foothill, but I'm going to leave in about twenty minutes. I've been doing quizzes and need a change of scenery before I tackle the revisions. Text me if you end up at the one we went to last time--I may join you!
Crap, I just realized I forgot to figure out how I'm going to transport the galette! Oops. Worst-case scenario, I bring it on a cookie sheet, I guess.
