Ok, that is all, I think I will look at gardening sites.

It would be way too dangerous for me to look at gardening sites while drunk. I'd find myself with a hundred dollars worth of seeds.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

They've given me a bed in the hallway. I don't want to seem ungrateful, but they can't treat me out here. I need monitoring and often oxygen. Not to mention the bright lights and noise. Am unhappy.

That's just wrong, ita.

It's moot for the moment, because the first nurse couldn't get a line in, so I'm waiting for someone else to notice me. I don't even have a bell to ring for extra blankets.

ita, are they working towards getting you a bed in a room? The room schedulers there are either the worst or completely overworked, I can't figure out which.

In the last two visits we have waited over 6 hours for a bed each time. and it was a scheduled surgery where they knew they were admitting her!

I don't think so, kat. They just got a line in (fifth try, three nurses) and apparently the meds are on the way. They used to insist to me that I kept almost dying. I guess I win that argument, if I'm going under un-monitored.

The times I've been scheduled intake the waits have been pretty horrible. And apparently predictable, given everyone's schedule.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

ita, I hope they get you sorted out quickly.

Thanks, Andi. I can see the nurse drawing up the meds right now. I hope they're the right ones.

I don't know why I suspected right this time, but no dilaudid. I think I talked the doctor into it, though. I hate being put into that position.
