I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

btw all - Craig Ferguson said Hookers and Blow on his show this week, just an FYI.

And did anyone else catch the Ellen a few weeks back with Jennifer Beals where she talked about being a Buffy fan and thinking Spike was hot? It made me think of the Spikeloost shirts.

Tomorrow mac and I go with my dad to the town I grew up in, then we come back and I have a meeting at 11 (did I mention that I volunteered to be Vacation Bible Director at our church?), then mac has a soccer game at 3:45.

Sunday we church and then I have another meeting at 12.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I'm thinking of reclaiming the last patch of potential garden next to my apartment. On the one hand, more garden! On the other hand, I'm barely keeping up with the bits I've got now. Anyway, I'm planning on buying a rake and clearing the old mulch off my current garden, and maybe putting down some of the compost my neighbors and I have been creating in the bin outside. The stuff on the bottom has been percolating for nearly two years now. It should make a nice soil additive. Then Saturday afternoon I may go with some friends to a pottery exhibit at a nearby museum. And Sunday I plan to re-enact The Simpson's "Old Man Shouts at Cloud" as my flying lesson gets canceled by the upcoming weather.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

ZEITGEIST.

I have no concrete plans. Maybe dinner with Colin on Sunday, maybe a friend of my sister's is in town and will get in touch with me.

Because books.

My plans are: take antibiotics, write, read my library book (which is fantastic), and enjoy most of the day tomorrow quietly, since Sara is sleeping at my parents' tonight and will be there till late afternoon tomorrow (they're going to see a performance of Peter and the Wolf that features an instrument petting zoo after).

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That sounds like a good plan, Suzi. I think I'll try that, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just did my big weekend plans -- an evening with Tony Bourdain and Eric Ripert, with delicious Ethiopian dinner beforehand. Tomorrow is all lazing around and errands and whatnot. Good one.

-t - I'm determined to get back on a regular schedule next week. My new meds plus the iron should be kicking in enough by then.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We're watching Beetlejuice and going to be eating Tater Tots tonight.

Now, I'm kind of wishing Winona would show up on 30 Rock. Geena Davis too.

Tomorrow JZ is going to Juliana's play.
