I just did my big weekend plans -- an evening with Tony Bourdain and Eric Ripert, with delicious Ethiopian dinner beforehand. Tomorrow is all lazing around and errands and whatnot. Good one.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, nail polish, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
-t - I'm determined to get back on a regular schedule next week. My new meds plus the iron should be kicking in enough by then.
We're watching Beetlejuice and going to be eating Tater Tots tonight.
Now, I'm kind of wishing Winona would show up on 30 Rock. Geena Davis too.
Tomorrow JZ is going to Juliana's play.
Oh, fun! I'm going on Thursday.
Oh, man, I'd kill for some tater tots.
Hi all! yay Theo for the job-having.
Weekend plans: son is at sleepover, the rest of us just got back a little while ago from visiting grandma. Tomorrow, we'll take Franny to a play at the Geffen. Isaac opted to hang out at the sleepover instead.
Also, what are people doing this weekend?
Tomorrow: Pete is going back to Emerald City Comic Con (go networking!), so I am going to go thrift shopping with a friend, and work on the plans for my Vampire Ball outfit. Sunday: go to Dad's house, work on clearing the attic. Dad swears there's a giant box of petticoats up there.
I have been noodling around on Wordle, making word clouds for The Poisonwood Bible and Native Son, and printing pix of things for my walls for my class. It's totally relaxing, right? Since it's stuff I don't have time to do when I am "working."
Oops, I'm not being a lazy, overpaid teacher! But I am going to go and read a magazine and drink some tea soon.
The rest of the weekend, I am going to be grading, cleaning, grocering, laundering and going to a friend's bday party tomorrow night and hopefully drinking copiously.
Sleeping THE HELL IN tomorrow and Sunday.
I have a cold, so I'll be stewing in misery this weekend as well as trying to figure out what else I'm going to have to give up to get my cholesterol down. I have so few vices left, you guys. It's not fair.
I haven't seen a dr (and that was for a severe ear infection) in over a decade. That's my solution.
