Poor thing. It was Texas's Independence Day not too long ago. Does that have anything to do with it. I mean considering that's why they wanted Independence from Mexico?
Aww, mac. I wish the teacher could see that part of it too. We all feel the same way, bucko. We get upset and lash out and later think about what we did. The good news is, you're maturing! The bad news is, consequences for your actions.
Also, in unrelated news, I always decide I want to do my nails on laundry day. But handling big piles of fabric every half hour is not conducive to a good manicure.
Well they have been studying Texas during the Civil War, so the reason he yelled what he did was because that was fresh in his mind, but it's rarely really connected with the emotions that cause an outburst. He was scared about my stuff yesterday and never really expressed that, and then he got quite a bit of praise for getting all As and Bs this 6 weeks. He usually has a bad incident after getting praise. It's part of our backward world.
Aw, kid.
But handling big piles of fabric every half hour is not conducive to a good manicure.
Neither are those little holes in the washer, I have hacked up more nails that way.
I'm listening to Criminal Minds on youtube while working. Why do they each have to explain a part of the profile to the cops, couldn't they just give the whole thing to one person to say? Did they get together and rehearse who would take which part? It's really distracting.
I have local friends who are willing to help out, but when I think of anyone coming over and smelling me/seeing me when I am in pain and haven't had a shower and my house is a mess? That's more worrisome than the surgery!!!
I know it will be hard to stop worrying about that but remember that your friends love you and will want to do anything they can to help you out. Try to let them!
I don't know about the shoulder injury but I know a few people who've had their menisci repaired. I can put a call out for people to report their experiences.
And good for you for TCBing even when it's scary!
Neither are those little holes in the washer, I have hacked up more nails that way.
True dat. I must have restraint. I can do them tomorrow; I have nothing pressing then. Then I can dither for all of today over what color I'll choose.
I don't know why the dithering thing is such a big part of my personality. It is killing me! Like right now trying to buy the laptop. I need a new laptop. There are five separate things wrong with my current, four year old laptop. The things that are broken are important things like, USB ports and power, things that are keeping me from using other stuff, like my Nook and my phone and my camera.
I have the money for the laptop. There's a whole budget category for it, with money in it. There are laptops available. People are willing to exchange goods for currency. In point of fact, there are some excellent deals out there. If I feel guilty about it, I could even trade in my current laptop to reduce the out of pocket price of the new one. I have researched, identified priorities, found products at an excellent price point with all the features I want.
And yet, when I think about pulling the trigger, I get all wobbly and sick. So, I have dithered my way past three refurb deals. I will now be paying $130 bucks more than if I'd just taken the plunge when I first started looking.
Stop dithering, Liese!
Thank you, Lisa. What is TCBing?

I love our city politics right now. Our mayor just pulled a Palin, my city council woman sorta raised taxes by about .02 cents (this is the same woman the DMN thought might not do well in a mayoral race because she's a "new mom" read:girl) 3 other guys have come forward to run against her mostly on the raising taxes and keeping big gov't (she's also redeveloping my hood). One of them today tried to put her in her place by saying she was horribly rude just walking out at the end of the mayor's farewell speech.
My council woman is probably the most popular city politician. Seriously, she's constantly in contact with her constituents. She shows up at everything. She even replies to comments in the comment section of our local weekly rag, and this dude's going to call her out for not hanging out and thanking a guy everyone hates?
Now his fe-fes are hurt because everyone is bashing him like the pinata he just stood up and declared himself to be.
This shit is fun!
