All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Hec, that reminds me of the pack of wolves "hyperbole and a half"

It might be a good idea for Emmett to read that. Forewarned is forearmed.

Dude! I would totally go but I already have tickets to another show tomorrow night.

What show are you seeing? Also, insent to your profile addy.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Nexium? damn expensive. I am for calling the Dr. office tomorrow to ask about other options.

Do, please. I am NOT an expert, but I have read a bunch of stuff on Nexium, which suggests that Prilosec may be as efficacious and not as frickin' pricey.

ETA words that make some frickin' SENSE.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Nexium is a very slight variation on omeprazole, the generic for Prilosec. The more cynical might suspect that the main difference is that omeprazole is now off patent. The generic OTC is still fairly pricey, and it's significantly cheaper if you can get your doctor to write a prescription for it. I've been taking it for about six years now and it's been a huge help.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Okay, so Australia has sharks in the streets, yes. And I am going to say that is bad. Because I am phobic.

But it also has glowy lakes.

Well played, Australia.

msbelle, I had a terrible acid-y stomach for years. I gave up coffee, red wine, ibuprofen, and a bunch of other things that really hurt my stomach. I also had a perscription for Zantac (150mg was still perscription strength at the time.)

After going to a nutritionist and figuring out what foods to avoid, I can drink coffee everyday without too much bother, and I haven't taken Zantac for a while. I found that probiotic really helped me, I take a couple of acidophilus capsules a day. I still avoid ibuprofen and take aspirin only when necessary. I only drink red wine in moderation, and there are still some other foods that I have to avoid: beets, black tea, anything but a small amount of peanuts. But everyone seems to be different, spicy foods are no problem for me at all, but I have to avoid too much tomato if I'm having a flare up. I really swear by the acidophilus. I'm certain that it's what allows me to have a coffee every morning...and that makes life worth living.

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

I just turned on my TV during dinner to see Emily Deschanel and Eddie McClintock working a case together, and couldn't figure out if I was watching Bones, Warehouse 13, or a broadcast from Bizarro World where they're the same show.

Hey, when did we last hear from Nilly? Could we all be buffistaunts and buffistuncles by now?

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It culminated when McKenzie (not quite 4) pointed her finger at Emmett and declaimed: "Your poop has talent!"

That sounds like something 50 Cent would say. (Well, actually, it sounds like the English 50 Cent translation on Twitter.)
