Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

America's 10 most toxic cities. I'm surprised how low LA is down the list, but California is about half of the top 10.

Wow. I knew Baton Rouge was bad, I didn't know it was that bad.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I can only hope that the mere mention of sex trade workers and controlled substances does not have a similar result.

Depending on where (and who) you are, popcorn is much easier to obtain and consume, and provided that you aren't eating movie theater popcorn popped in corn oil and slathered with salt and a buttery topping that is solid and grainy in texture when at room temperature, it is probably less detrimental to your health and well-being.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

A mecha-dildo trumps even a donkey, and doesn't shit on the floor.

Out of context, this made me laugh and laugh. In context too, but I was skimming when I first read it.

I did not have popcorn. Instead I made two separate runs to Trader Joe's to procure goat cheese and avocado (since I had an avocado, but it turned out to be no good) so I could slather those and a little sea salt on some toast. NOM.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

We've eaten popcorn at Chez Zmayhem and are watching a BBC production of The Wolves of Willoughby Chase which I was able to procure on DVD at a very cheap price.

I love the bit in The Wire S2 where Stringer asks his prof for help with his distribution/channel problems.

I meant to say earlier, but I got distracted by all the academic hookers and blow, that that's one of my favorite bits from The Wire. Doesn't hurt that I was getting my MBA when I watched it.
